Although I was born in this city, and perhaps I'm already used to the lifestyle that living here requires, I also have a few things to say about why this is the worst place I've ever been.
First of all, it is overcrowded. Many people live here in Santiago, I understand that it is like all the cities, but I am the type of people who avoid crowds most of the time, so it is difficult for me to do it here. In the mornings I suffer when I have to take the subway to the university, or in the afternoons when I return home, I prefer to do it after the rush hour passes, even though that sometimes means returning to my house when it is already late and it is dark outside.
On the other hand, there is what we all hate about Santiago, air pollution. Some time ago I visited the Bahá'í temple, which is located in the commune of Peñalolén, it was necessary to climb a kind of hill to reach the place, of which if it were not for the dense layer of smog that covers Santiago, it could have appreciated a wonderful sight.
In addition, I want to share this photo that I saw a while ago on Instagram, as a comment said "find Santiago", it was not so difficult, it is a concrete stain! This city has very few green areas, and that's another thing I don't like.
